Aloe Vera As A Panacea

Aloe vera is known as a panacea, at least when it comes to skin and hair care. But what exactly can the plant do?

Aloe vera as a panacea

Aloe vera is described in the media as a panacea, but this is logically a bit of an exaggeration. Aloe vera can, however, be used very beneficial in cosmetics, especially in skin care.

We explain to you what aloe vera can do as a panacea in cosmetics and why that is.

Aloe vera as a panacea for the skin

With aloe vera you have a whole pharmacy on your windowsill. So consider buying a plant so that you always have pure, unpolluted aloe gel available when you need it.

Aloe vera used internally as a panacea has not yet been fully scientifically researched, so that some statements can currently still be evaluated as advertising slogans. However, a few efficacies have also been proven when consumed. Try it!

How do you use aloe vera?

Real aloe is known for its excellent care and healing properties on the skin. You should either have an aloe vera plant on the windowsill or a pure (!) Aloe gel at hand, because skin care with aloe vera is wonderfully universal.

Basically , it donates an incredible amount of moisture. Their nourishing ingredients also ensure that wounds or other skin injuries or skin irritations such as sunburns heal faster. Real aloe also serves as a moisturizer.

For the most natural skin care with aloe vera, all you need is a fresh leaf. To do this, cut off a piece of the thick-fleshed leaf and carefully peel off the hard, green outer skin. The resulting light green jelly-like core is the part that contains the active ingredients that your skin is waiting for.

Further application examples of skin care with aloe vera are:

  • Abrasions
  • Burns
  • sunburn
  • acne
  • Skin irritation
  • Scar healing

The application is very easy: Apply the pure gel (please always without added alcohol) on the skin. If you have a plant, place thin slices of the inside of the leaf on the affected areas of the skin. After the first few applications, you will quickly be convinced of its effectiveness and discover aloe vera as a panacea for you!

Aloe vera in home and hair care

Sunburn, heat from a hairdryer, and chemicals from hair products or hair dyes can damage the scalp. This is completely counterproductive because only a healthy scalp can produce healthy hair!

So if you want beautiful, healthy hair, you should pay attention to a healthy scalp.

Aloe vera is a great way to nourish, moisturize, and keep the scalp healthy for healthy hair growth. Please make sure to only use pure aloe gel that does not contain alcohol.

Alcohol is often used to preserve the gel, but it dries out hair and skin and is counterproductive.

The easiest way to use real aloe in hair care is to massage the gel straight onto the scalp. To do this, distribute a good amount of pure aloe gel evenly on your scalp and then let it soak in thoroughly and dry.

Drinking aloe vera juice every day ensures better digestion

Aloe for stomach ache

Aloe vera works well with superficial inflammation. So if your stomach ache comes from a mild gastric mucosal inflammation, for example, the versatile plant can help.

You don’t have to buy expensive aloe products when you have a plant like this on your windowsill. It is very useful – you should always have this medicinal plant in the house.

Cut off an entire leaf from the plant and peel it. You can cut the inside of the leaf into cubes and eat it in a fruit salad, yogurt or muesli or puree it into a kind of smoothie and drink it straight.

Please only use small amounts of aloe vera against stomach ache, because larger amounts can have a laxative effect.

Aloe vera can help relieve constipation

Everyone knows by now that aloe vera is good for the skin. However, it is still quite unknown that it can stimulate digestion.

The enzymes in the aloe vera cause more salty water to accumulate in the intestines and thus speed up bowel evacuation. If you don’t have an aloe plant in your garden or don’t want to “harvest” it, you can buy capsules with concentrated aloe vera extract in the pharmacy for this purpose.

As you can see, aloe vera is suitable as a panacea for minor external and internal ailments. However, it is not a magic bullet that can prevent cancer, lower blood pressure or cholesterol levels, or make you lose weight, for example.
