1. Fried fish fillet

  • 4 – 6 fish fillets (or 2 – 3 whole fish, if you can prepare the fillets yourself)
  • 1 medium-sized egg
  • 3 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • The juice of 3 large lemons
  • One teaspoon of black pepper

preparation

  • Marinate the fish fillets:  Put the fish in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for half an hour. Keep it in the refrigerator during this time.
  • Whisk the egg in a bowl and prepare some flour in a plate.
  • Salt the fish fillets and
  • Then, beat the egg in a bowl and transfer the flour to a plate.
  • Now dip the fish fillets in the egg and then roll them in the flour.
  • Now you can sauté them in a pan with olive oil until they are golden on both sides.
  • Serve the fish with tomatoes or french fries.

2. Steamed fish fillet

  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 diced tomatoes
  • 5 tablespoons of diced coriander
  • 4 fish fillets
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fish broth
  • 5 tablespoons of pepper cream

preparation

  • Marinate the fillets with salt, garlic and pepper.
  • Then fry the onion and tomatoes together with the peppercream for 5 minutes.
  • Then you reduce the heat and add coriander and oregano. Then coat the fillets with this sauce and sauté them in a pan over medium heat with the fish stock.
  • Be careful not to let the fish dry out. Add a little water if necessary. After 10 minutes the fish is ready.
  • Serve it with french fries or salad. Rice also tastes great with it!
