Homemade Masks For Straight Hair

Don’t forget that you have to be constant with the application of the treatment in order to see the desired results. To avoid damaging the hair, avoid using the blow dryer or straightener at excessively high temperatures.

Homemade masks for straight hair

Most women with frizzy and straw hair have problems styling their hair. Sometimes the hairstyle even looks unkempt as the hair cannot be tamed. This is why many opt for a ponytail or updo hairstyles. Different masks can help here.

Numerous women dream of straight, silky, shiny hair and then resort to various methods that can sometimes damage the hair and make it look even more lifeless and dull.

The genetic factors (which determine hair type) cannot be changed, but it is important to properly care for your hair so that it becomes softer, easier to style, and smoother as desired.

Below are two recipes you can use to make  homemade masks  for straight hair.

Homemade hair mask with olive oil

ingredients

  • 30 g of olive oil
  • 1 capsule of jasmine oil
  • 30 g conditioner without ammonia

preparation

Mix all of the ingredients together well to create a smooth cream. Spread the mask evenly over the hair (avoiding the hairline) and concentrate on the tips, then leave the cream on for a few minutes. Then rinse well with water and do your hair. Don’t use a hair dryer.

Also, use a hair cream  that does not contain salt to prevent the hair from drying out. In this way you prevent hair damage and get soft, smooth and easy-to-style hair.

Homemade coconut masks

For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

ingredients

  • 1/2 fresh coconut
  • 1 spoonful of ground oats
  • 1 spoonful of starch
  • 1/2 cup of milk

preparation

Mix all ingredients except the starch in a blender and then pass the cream through. Mix the starch with a little water and then mix all the ingredients well with the mixer until an even cream is formed.

Apply this mask to your hair, then leave it on for about 25 minutes. Then the hair is washed as normal with a gentle shampoo.

Do not forget that …

… these masks do not work miracles the first time they are used. You have to be consistent and use the masks over and over again over a long period of time so that your hair slowly recovers and becomes smoother and softer.

You can use a flat iron to straighten  the hair after it dries naturally. If you wish, you can also use a natural, homemade hair cream for this.

You should use  the straightening iron and hair dryer at a medium temperature, otherwise the cuticle may be damaged and the hair may look lifeless, dull.
