  • 3 cups of flour (360 g)
  • 1 cup of sugar (200 g)
  • 1/2 cup of sunflower oil (100 ml)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of yogurt (125 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon (30 g)
  • 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder (12 g)

  • First preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Wash the orange well, then rub part of the peel. Then, juice the orange and set aside the juice and grated zest.
  • Then crack the eggs in a bowl and add the sugar, oil, juice, orange peel, cinnamon and yogurt. Then stir the ingredients together until everything is well mixed.
  • Finally, add the already mixed flour and baking powder and stir everything well until you get a lump-free mixture.
  • For perfect cinnamon and orange muffins: Next, cover the bowl with cling film and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. You can even let the dough sit overnight.
  • Fill the muffin pan 2/3 full with batter.

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder (12 g)

  • First preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Then wash the orange well before you cut it with the peel into small pieces.
  • In the next step, put the beaten eggs, along with the sugar, the olive oil, the orange pieces and the vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat the whole thing until you get a smooth cream.
  • Then add the already mixed flour and baking powder to the mixture and beat until there are no more lumps.
  • Then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour, or as long as you want.
  • Then take the mixture out of the refrigerator and fill the muffin tins 2/3 full with batter.
  • Then bake the muffins for 15 to 20 minutes, until the top rises and the muffins are golden brown. Check if they’re done by sticking a toothpick into the batter. Then take the muffins out of the oven and let them cool.
  • While they are cooling, heat the chocolate in a double boiler until it melts.
  • Once the muffins have cooled, take them out of the mold and dip the top in the melted chocolate.
  • Finally, let your muffins cool in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened.
