For the marinade of the fish you need the following ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil or 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds (soaked in water for 2 hours)
  • The juice of one lemon
  • 1 slice of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

To make poke you need the following ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of cooked rice
  • 100 g salmon
  • 5 nuts
  • 1/4 of a cucumber
  • 1/4 of a purple onion
  • 5 slices of a radish
  • 1/2 avocado

As a seasoning and flavor enhancer, use three strips of the green part of a spring onion and a hot sauce.

Marinade the fish

  • First cut the salmon into cubes and put everything in a bowl.
  • Then add the lemon juice, soy sauce, sesame oil (or seeds) and the ginger slices.
  • Mix everything well and  let the marinade work for at least 20 minutes.
  • Cover the bowl and put it in the refrigerator in the meantime.
